Garnets are the birthstone for January babies and are also given on the 2nd and 6th wedding anniversaries.
Did you know that garnets come in reds, purples, oranges, pinks and even greens (tsavorites are garnets)? But the most common garnets are red. No matter the color, they are all gorgeous to me!
I like wearing garnets in the New Year, not only is it a seasonal color for this time of the year, but I also find that it helps me to feel more grounded after a hectic holiday season and it helps me to focus on the year to come. This is the time I like to look forward to the year ahead and set goals for myself and my company and the garnet helps me to lead the company in the direction that it needs to go.
