I love the intricate patterns of what is called "fretwork" on Victorian buildings. Fretwork is the swirling cut-outs that adorn the corners, see photo examples in the images. I get lost in the swirls and wanted to create something as beautiful like a tiny sculpture you can wear.
What is a lab created ruby? They are created in a lab from corundum, the exact same material as earth-made rubies except these are created in a lab environment using the same conditions of heat and pressure to create a gem. It makes for an eco friendly alternative and ethical choice!
