This unique morganite engagement ring is cast into recycled sterling silver as a simple wheat ring that has a braided pattern. It's totally unique and handcrafted in our NYC studio. We bezel set a 5mm cushion pink morganite in this perfectly sweet ring, oxidize it to bring out the details and give it a soft polish. The result is unique and modern with a vintage feel.
Morganite is a beryl, in the same family as aquamarine and emerald: Royal company in my opinion.
This is one of my favorite rings for it's simplicity and special meaning. It reminds me of wheat and the story of The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint Exupery. Specifically the part about taming the fox. When the fox meets the Prince they are strangers, and the fox asks the Little Prince to tame him.
