Morganite Ring, Water Dream
A 5mm round pink morganite gemstone is bezel set into this unique silver swirl engagement ring. This ocean ring is inspired by waves of water and cast into recycled sterling silver.
The pink morganite is set into a hand carved bezel, the ring is oxidized to bring out the details and given a high polish. This ring is beautiful and unique and made with lots of love.
Morganite was discovered in 1910 by the chief gemologist at Tiffany's, George Kunz. He suggested it be named after the American financier, J.P. Morgan who was Tiffany's best customer. It's a beautiful, sparkly gemstone with a hint of blush pink.
Inspired by the poem Water Night by Octavio Paz:
Night with the eyes of a horse that trembles in the night,
Night with eyes of water in the field asleep
Is in your eyes, a horse that trembles,
Is in your eyes of secret water.
Eyes of shadow-water,
Eyes of well-water,
Eyes of dream-water.
