I turned the cushion cut London Blue Topaz on its side to give the Poppyseed Ring an edgy look. The bezel has little beaded details on the side which reminded me of poppyseeds when I was creating this ring - hence the name!
A unique twist on the classic bezel set ring will make her swoon. Cast into recycled sterling silver, then a 7mm cushion cut London blue topaz is bezel set into my sterling silver Poppyseed ring. The beaded detail is oxidized to bring out the detail and gives it an edgy feeling. Then the whole ring is high polished.
I call this my Poppyseed ring because it was inspired by tiny poppyseeds, like the beaded detail around the setting. Everything begins from a seed and can blossom into something amazing when nurtured. This ring represents the start of something new. A new idea, new business venture, new job, new relationship, a new birthday. The excitement that comes with a fresh start is contained in the idea of this ring, my wish is for you to remember your new beginnings whenever you look at this ring.
