This unique, alternative engagement ring was handmade by me. I created the original model using metalsmithing techniques then had a model made and had it cast into recycled sterling silver. I set a 6mm square cushion London blue topaz, oxidized it and gave it a high polish. It's a beautiful, swirl ring that you'll love to look at from all angles.
Blue topaz is the December birthstone and it's also used for the 4th, 19th or 23rd wedding anniversary. It is believed to increase strength and to improve eyesight. The Egyptians wore it as an amulet to protect them from injury.
t's also made to order in whole and half sizes 5-8, and will take 4 weeks for me to make by hand for you. I can also make this in 14k gold or platinum which are more expensive than silver- just contact the studio with your finger size for pricing.
