I oxidized it to show the contrast, then highly polished it so your ring is bright and beautiful against your finger.
Morganite is a beryl, in the same family as aquamarine and emerald: Royal company in my opinion. A matching recycled sterling silver wedding band that I also carved completes the set.
My inspiration for carving this ring came from the wrought ironwork I see on my walks through the city. This ring reflects the unique one-of-a-kind nature of the work I make with my own two hands in my tiny NYC studio.
