This beautiful pair of London blue topaz earrings are part of my Wrought collection, inspired by the ironwork I see in my walks through the city. I hand carved the bezels and had them cast into recycled sterling silver, oxidized them slightly and then set 5mm faceted London blue topaz into them.
These are sure to fill her day with more sparkle! Blue topaz is the December birthstone. It is said to increase strength and help eyesight. The ancient Egyptians wore it as an amulet to protect them from injury.
The stud earrings have a sterling post and nut closure.
