This stacking set of citrine, tsavorite garnet, and aquamarine rings features my wheat band texture and three 5mm bezel set gemstones. The hand-braided texture is cast into 100% recycled sterling silver and then oxidized and given a shiny finish.
My inspiration for these rings is the story of The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint Exupery. Specifically the part about taming the fox. When the fox meets the Prince they are strangers, and the fox asks the Little Prince to tame him. He says, "The wheat fields have nothing to say to me. And that is sad. But you have hair that is the color of gold. Think how wonderful that will be when you have tamed me! The grain, which is also golden, will bring me back to the thought of you.
