I bezel set a beautiful 7x5mm oval Rhodolite Garnet into this sterling silver ring, this is a new addition to the Water Dream collection. The swirly band takes me to the beach each time I look at it, the curls looking like ocean waves.
The ring shines in recycled sterling silver, I oxidized the ring to show off the curves.I finish it with a high polish for perfection. This is definitely a nature inspired ring and I love the bezel because it won't catch on anything and is smooth to the touch. The ring is completely designed by me so you won't see anything else like it. It's handmade in my NYC studio for your order.
You can stack it up with other Oval Water Rings found here.
Garnet may be given as a gem on the 2nd and 6th wedding anniversary.
Garnet's powers include healing, strength, and protection and it is often worn to relieve inflammations of the skin. It is also believed to regulate the heart and blood flow and aid in curing depression. In earlier times, garnets were exchanged as gifts between friends to demonstrate their affection for each other and to insure that they meet again.
Inspired by water, here's an excerpt from Water Night by Octavio Paz: Night with the eyes of a horse that trembles in the night, Night with eyes of water in the field asleep. Is in your eyes, a horse that trembles, Is in your eyes of secret water. Eyes of shadow-water, Eyes of well-water, Eyes of dream-water.
I can add engraving to the inside of the ring, please add on from the dropdown menu and add the engraving to the notes in the shopping cart.
