The Nightshade pendant is bezel set with 8x5mm pear garnet. The vines are entwined around the gemstone, they are one of the hallmarks of my designs. The swirls and twirls become tiny sculptures that intertwine around your body. My jewelry is made to grow with you in life.

Nightshade was used in Victorian times to redden cheeks and lips, which led to its formal name: Belladonna which translates to Beautiful Woman. It's also a symbol of silence, and was used as poison which appeals to my darker sensibilities. Power, control, sensuality. I chose garnets to as the centerpieces in this collection for their deep and mysterious glow. Garnets represent inner fire and life force, which fit perfectly with the Nightshade designs.

Bohemian Vines grew from the place in my heart with deep roots to the earth combined with the dreamy swirling ether of the sky. Vines represent strength, determination, endurance and progress over time.

I'm always inspired by other artists and in dreaming up this collection I found this beautiful sonnet by Pablo Neruda:
