These beautiful amethyst stud earrings are new to the Bohemian Vines collection.
They feature two 3.5mm round amethysts, which are the February birthstone and is the gem that is given on the 4th, 6th, and 17th wedding anniversaries. This gem is thought to bring wealth and power to the wearer. It can also bring calm, bravery, and contemplation.
Bohemian Vines grew from the place in my heart with deep roots to the earth combined with the dreamy swirling ether of the sky. Vines represent strength, determination, endurance and progress over time.
I chose Lilacs because they are one of the first blossoms of Spring, and they represent renewal and rebirth. The fragrance of the Lilac promotes relaxation and fights depression. I chose amethysts because they are a stone of protection, calmness and clarity.
I'm always inspired by other artists and in dreaming up this collection I found this beautiful sonnet by Pablo Neruda:
