This delicious moonstone engagement ring set is inspired by the waves of the ocean, the swirls of the sea. I designed this ring set to be a token of happiness to wear everyday. Cast into recycled sterling silver and oxidized to bring out the details, I set a 5mm square cushion rainbow moonstone in the center and give it a high polish.
Moonstones are the June birthstone and given as a token of true love. They are said to calm emotions and to represent new beginnings, similar to the phases of the moon. Ancient Romans thought that moonstones were made from droplets of moonlight. :-)
