My mom has a pond in her garden, it's large enough to fit a boat, so, when I was a young girl, I would row out on the pond and read and ruminate.
This summer we are spending time, as a family, at my mom's and we now have a different row boat that we use on the pond.

And as some of you know, I'm a Jersey girl. Which means I also spent a lot of time "down the shore."
I'm STILL a Jersey shore girl-- I love going to Cape May at the end of Summer.
I have a special connection to water, whether it's a pond, a lake, a pool or an ocean. I can't quite describe it, but I am drawn to it and it soothes my soul.
The swirls that are featured on the bands of the Water Dream collection remind me of the waves in the ocean.
