Aquamarine is a beautiful aqueous blue gemstone, and it is the March birthstone. It is also given on the 16th and 19th wedding anniversaries.
Aquamarines are always blue but can be different shades, ranging from light blue to teal to blue-green (though these are mostly heat treated). I love the pale hint of blue and the high amount of sparkle they have, and I love working with them for many reasons.
Aquamarine is believed to give the wearer foresight, courage and happiness as well as increase intelligence and make one youthful (I think we could all use some of those wonderful attributes!). It is also said to be effective as a treatment for anxiety.

If the throat chakra is unbalanced, you may find yourself unable to speak your truth when you need it the most, or holding back on expressing your needs and desires.
All in all, not only is a beautiful stone (especially for people that love those cooler toned gemstones), it can be a powerful stone for overcoming fears of talking in public and speaking your truth.
