Sweet and totally modern! The faceted pear shaped 'gem' is made from solid sterling silver, the real thing would be 1/2 carat. Then it's dipped in 14k yellow gold and set onto a sterling band. As with all gold plated items, do not use a polishing cloth or any other abrasive cleaners. Suds and water will do the trick.
